Canon printer problem after installing Service Pack 2
After installing Service Pack 2 the Canon Multipass F60 printer that I bought from Dell with my computer won't work. A message pops up that reads "Please start MP Service from the services applet in the control panel. Then please right-click on the status monitor to reconnect and try again"
I could not find MP services from the control panel, but I did find status monitor from the program menu and right clicked as instructed, but with no results.
I have removed and reinstalled the software for the printer. It still won't work.
The only way I can make it work is by using system restore the an earlier date, but then I loose Service Pack 2 and I don't want to do that as I want to be up to date on Windows updates.
I sent an E-mail to Dell Support and get answers back with links that lead no wheres.
Can anyone out there help me ? I can't believe I am the only one having this problem. Thanks
