Inspiron Startup Question

When my inspiron 6000 starts up, after the main dell screen (but before the xp screen) I get another dell screen that says www.dell.com at the top and below it looks like it says loading pr2 or something like that. Is this normal?

    I have an Inspiron 6000 2.0 ghz 512 mb ram and have only installed a few programs. My question is: How long should windows take to start (about how many times should the little bar go back and forth? Mine took about 14 times)

    Yes, completely normal. The exact message is:

    "Loading PBR 2...done."

    PBR = Partition Boot Record. It says Loading PBR 2 because you are booting off the 2nd partition on your hard drive.
