Downloaded the latest MS updates on my Dimension 5100 and now I cant boot the OS, no luck in Safe Mode, just cycles and takes me back. Ran diagnostics and hard drive is fine and of course I have no recovery disk.

I am running WIndows Media Center 2005 and not sure options appear to be

• Get my hands on Media Center Recovery Disk (any ideas)
• Try and remove hard drive and get a good save from another computer , then wipe it and start over.
• Any other diagnostic tips?

I am fairly confident this is the result of the Microsoft updates but not sure how to fix it.
