The problem started when my IE crashed for the umpteenth time and told me to reinstall windows (98SE). After repairing IE several times, I got tired of dealing with it and reinstalled windows w/o thinking and discovered when the installation was complete, all I had left was an OS in my system; everything else was gone.

On account of the Dell's excellent support, I was able to install drivers for my AGP, audio, video and system help and references (Dimension xps Txxx).

I've been trying to reinstall word97 and money99. I just have the Works Suite99 (MS money99 basic audio/video help and MS word valuepack). I'm not even sure if this is the right program. I bought another used system and have money2000 that came with it, I'm considering installing that instead but before I do, I decided to post a message here.

I need my money program to manage my account. As you can imagine, it's the first of many problems. Any suggestions regarding software, applications and hardware issues on this will be greatly appreciated.

As soon as I get this pc operating decently, I plan to sell it or give it away for another Dell system, in the mean time help...
