No Internet connection since Windows update
I have an XPS 13 and Yesterday I followed the instructions of the Windows on my laptop and updated the Windows 10 Pro system files, and since the update, my WiFi and also ethernet connections are not working, they are not receiving any Internet throughput.
The network connections do show in my list of available networks and I can connect, it accepts the WiFi password, but I have the error message 'No Internet, secured'. This is the same error for either WiFi or Ethernet.
I tried to revert the windows update to a system restore point which was made at the time of the windows update, but it didn't resolve the issue
I downloaded some WiFi drivers and reinstalled them, but the error persists
I have contacted local Dell support and they got me to do the following commands :
Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.
• Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter
After doing these and restarting the laptop, the error is still persists.
Is there anybody here that can advise any further help with this issue?
THANKS!
