Hi everyone,

I have a problem with an XPS 9500 where it will often refuse to boot up properly.

On pressing the power button, the keyboard backlight will switch on, the charging light will light and the dell logo will come up (without the circling image below it). It will then turn itself off. This repeats a few times and will only stop when the laptop is left for a few hours.

After viewing the forums I believe it may be a physical problem - is it worth sending it in to dell to repair?
