Fedora Core6 --- Install from external USB DVD drive?

I am new to Linux.
How do I installed Fedora Core6 on my DELL PowerEdge 2400 server.
Fedora Core6 is on a DVD disk.
The DELL server has only a SCSI CD drive.
I have a external USB SONY DVD drive.
The DELL server has also two USB 1.0 connections(Ports)
and a Floppy drive.
Is there some bootable software(Floppy or CD)
that will allow me to install DVD Fedora Core6
from my external USB DVD drive?
Where do get this USB bootable software?
Do I download or purchase this software?
Thank You
Bob Whitman

I would recommend performing a network based install. On the Fedora Core ISO there is a boot.iso image. You can create a regular CDROM from this image using any CD Recorder software that handles burning iso images.
You will need to create an FTP, HTTP, or NFS share with the entire contents of the Fedora Core DVD, and when prompted during the Fedora Core setup for the server name, provide the connection type (ftp, http, or NFS), name of the server, and directory where the files are located.
