Aurora R7--upgrade SSD?

Hi folks--

I have a new R7.  It seems to have an empty 2TB HDD, and the system drive is a 256GB SSD.  I want to add a 500GB SSD.

Is there somewhere I can put the extra 500GB SSD?  It seems there is only room for two drives, and I don't really want to replace the 2TB HDD.  I was hoping there would be an empty SSD slot or that it would be easier to swap an SSD into the big 2TB slot (obviously that's not easy).

Does this mean my only choice is to replace the 256GB drive?  This is the system drive, so that adds a wrinkle.  If I replace the system drive with a 500GB drive, will the BIOS pop up and reinstall the factory image from a chip somewhere?  Or will I have no boot device at all if I replace the 256GB system drive?  If that's the case, can I either temporarily make the 2TB drive the system drive, or create an image there that the BIOS can put onto the 500GB drive when I take the 256GB drive out?

Thanks!
