Transfer Aurora R9 to new case
I have an aurora r9 I have upgraded with an RTX 2080TI, a Corsair H60 liquid cooler, 32 gb ram, and 2 tb ssd. I game in 4k on a Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ 27" LED LCD Monitor.
The fans on this machine give me actual anxiety. I have been trying to play death stranding in 4k on 144hz and the fans are so loud i am reaching temps of 90C. I have new fans coming but have decided I cannot take it anymore. I want to transfer my entire computer to a new case. Is this possible? Please help me, I am dying with this noise it is awful.

Also, you won't have an io shield, because the R9 one is a part of the case and is non-removable.

@Anonymous That is correct. I am running it with no bios error. I have ordered some fans that are on the way as stated before. The RTX 2080TI is the nvidia its aircooled. Yes I see the case swap is compllicated and I would just do the same and order a better motherboard to run a 10900k haha. I have to waity for the fans is all but they dont come for a little while

Keep in mind that the connection on the motherboard for the led lights plus the power button are nonstandard and proprietary. You'd need to rewire the connection from the pc case.

@Anonymous The PSU is the one that came originally with R9 and the default dell fans for the lower intake and my radiator is my corsair H60. I have ordered 2 Corsair ML120 that arrive early next week but I am wondering if it is because of how tight this case is. thanks for the reply

@Anonymous it is the twin fan RTX 2080ti! i am trying for new fans to get here monday my pc cpu is still around 65-70 idle

@Anonymous Thank you so much for the reply. Unfortunately you guessed incorrectly I actually applied MX-4 thermal compound to it! I did this actually once then reapplied it. I just am so confused. The top fan intakes I had to do that because it was even hotter before When it was reversed then my low side fan sucks in and The top side fan blows out. Idk what is happening and why it’s like this.

i'm curious what happened here because i have the same exact rig and I've done the fan upgrades. push pull. front fants. for me the problem is the GPU where it cranks to 83c if a start any game on my samsung G9 (which pushes about as hard as a 4k). I know its partially this monitors fault, but it was doing insane fan ish on my 1080p monitor as well. I also reseated and reapplied the thermal paste on the CPU cooler. The limitations on this machine isn't the the cpu its the 2080ti heat issue.
That said, I tried the alienware thing and i'm about ready to take the graphics card, nvme, ram, cpu and 100 dollars in fans I added then throw this thing off a bridge. motherboard is ancient tech, low vram, terrible to overclock, mini atx garbage in a much bigger than it looks in pictures case and not to mention the overwhelming sound of the fans on this thing (im assuming coming from the GPU because i've changed every single other fan) are absolutely crazy loud and quite frankly Alienware knows it which is why they are coming up with a liquid cooling solution that will leave us late R8-R10 adopters to just take it in the pooper. majority of $3400 i paid last 8 months ago will also be thrown off said bridge unless one of you collectors of dated relics wants this PoS.
