AW768 & AW558 problems after restart - Connected to Alienware Graphics Amplifier

Possibly separate issues here, but as they're both related to Alienware accessories connected to the Alienware Graphics Amplifier and managed by the Alienware Command Center.

I just recently started using an Alienware Graphics Amplifier with my laptop and bought an AW768 and AW558 keyboard.  After a restart, the keyboard (AW768) is not recognized (appears to not be connected) until the USB cable is disconnected and reconnected.  The mouse (AW558) doesn't seem to hold it's color setting after restart - but picks it up again if I manually run the Alienware Command Center and wait for it to finish launching (seems to be trying to update everytime it's launched after a restart).

For the price and seeming quality of these accessories - I kind of expected to not run into annoyances like this.

Note: Using most recent drivers and updated Keyboard firmware.
