Laptop is 1 year 3 mos old.

Batter is at 46% (plugged in , not charging).  When I started, the battery was at 7% and charged to 46% and will not move.

If I disconnect OEM adapter, the computer immediately shuts off.

To turn the laptop back on, I have to plug in the ac adapter

The computer works perfectly normally on AC power.

There were no indications the battery is going bad

BIOS is newest version

BIOS states the battery is in good health
