I had a m15 R2 but because of constant problems had to have a warranty exchange which was replaced with a m15 R3. In my R2 I had a single 2Tb SSD but the replacement R3 contains 2 1Tb SSD in Raid 0 configuration plus a 512Gb SSD. The packing slip sent with the new R3 lists the 2 1Tb drives as "boot" and the 512Gb drive as "storage". After getting most, but not all of my programs and data transferred to the new r3 I noticed that the 512Gb drive is still showing 0 used.

I understand how the 2 Raid0 drives are used but what about the third smaller drive? Is it simply for system or windows data? Also from another retired laptop I have another 1Tb SSD, could it be added to this r3 in place of the existing 512Gb?
