Multiple CIF Servers using the same IP
Hi,
I need to create a new CIF server using Celerra Manager 5.4. I have never created one before.
I see that I get a list of IP addresses that I assume are mapped to a specific LAN card. On my Celerra all the IP's are already assigned to a CIF server, can I create a new CIF server using an IP that is already used by an existing CIF server?
Any help would be great.

Due to the way CIFS and Windows name resolution works each CIFS server has to have a unique IP address
Just create another logical interface with a new IP address - it doesnt have to be an extra physical interface
