Thanks for your help. The document from Powerlink 2007 "Daylight Savings Time Change: Compliance for EMC Products" was a little confusing after the first pass.
The CX600 does not need to be updated for the DST change, only on whatever servers you have running. JAVA updates are done from the server, not the CX600.
true....there isnt any java code running on clariion as far as i believe. jar files are stored but they are ultimately excecuted on clients.
the times used to log the events is also preset to using GMT and the os itself is put into US timezones if i remember well. it wont matter if you do not update those times correctly. as long as both sp times are in sync, its not an issue.
and EMC does its job best to keep the os updated. its not advised to log onto clariion and update the os though it appears to be same as any stock windows.
