Custom report that includes custom attributes

Hi, I have created a custom attribute called "node type" with the attribute editor.  I need to create a report that will show this attribute and I cant seem to find any way to do this in report editor.  Am I going at this wrong?  Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Hi,

Yes this approach will also work with custom attributes. To create a new attribute you can go to Tools, Attribute Editor and create a new attribute. This attribute should then be available in the report.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can add a data source called "Node Details" under the Internal category and select the Include Host Attributes option to display the node attributes. You can then merge this into your existing report.

    Thanks

Thank worked great.  Thanks David.  Is there any way to do the same thing, but with a custom attribute called "account number" given to each Avamar backup domain?

That worked great.  Thank you.  I was able to grab the attribute I wanted for each backup domain in Avamar and merge it with other info.

Which is the best method to use the Merge operator or Join Operator for Attributes?
