Hello

I've been trying to fix this for more than a week now. When I shut down and try to restart I have to press the start button any number of times before it decides to start. Also when i try a restart this fails as well. I have to shut down and press the power button as above. Sometimes 2 or 3 times it will start then other times it can be 30 or more, but it does come on eventually. I have installed a new battery, I also replaced the cmos battery on the motherboard. I have tried to update the bios but because of the restart it wont install. It's obviously an intermittent issue so this makes it doubly difficult.when it's running this laptop works perfectly.

Any ideas or help would be gratefully recieved.
