Alienware 17 R2 - Battery temporary disabled

Hello all, as the title suggests I have a AW 17R2 that displays the following message at post.

"This battery is temporary disable, please turn off the computer and

Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility"

I've tried reseating the battery connection.

Wiggling the battery terminal where it plugs into the motherboard.

Partial power drain (Coin cell battery removal require motherboard removed :(  )

Fn and F2 key to supposedly re-enable the battery.

Nothing has worked, I thought as this model has intel dynamic platform thermal framework there may be an adjustment inside command center but there is none.

The only thing I have not tried is a complete power drain by removing all power sources, the coin cell battery (from what I can tell) is located on the underneath of the motherboard, requiring the motherboard to be removed to do a complete power drain (Nice forward thinking there....)

Specs are:

i7 4910HQ

16GB Memory

GTX980M

512GB NGFF SSD

Killer WiFi & BT 1525

Windows 8 Pro

240W PSU

Anyone got any other suggestions
