For some reason when I was programming my macro keys for in the command center I received a blue screen and then my laptop rebooted and now has an error every time it boots up.
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

and every time I load the Command center and go over too the Tactx area to try to program them or change colors it pops up the above error the pops up this this up in a separate error window:

when i click ok on both it shuts the Command center down.
I have tried updating all the drivers and uninstalling the command center and reinstalling it nothing seems to work and now the macros are useless.

Thank you so much this fixed it right up but I think it is not necessary to take it all the way apart just to unplug the battery when it is opened so you have a lot less to worry about. Again thank you!

Hi Zilo,
Make sure the BIOS is up to date.
Also, try a power drain: Unplug all devices from the system and disconnect it from the power. Open the system and disconnect the battery (You can follow the steps of how to open and disconnect the battery on this video until second 32). Then hold the power button for around a minute, plug the battery back and close the bottom cover. After the power drain, uninstall and reinstall the command center following ALL the steps on this article.
