How do I activate the Turbo Boost?
I have an alienware 17, store says I should be able to boost my cpu to 3.5ghz.
Problem is, I can't seem to get access to the BIOS screen. There's no info on what to press on the boot screen, I tried pressing pretty much every F key but nothing happened.
Any help on this?
Yes, we read them, but there are lots of forums on the net. Sometimes it takes a day or so for us to answer a post.
The Owners Manual should describe how to enter BIOS.
However, Intel Turbo-Boost activates automatically on-the-fly in Windows as needed. Probably only when connected to AC Power.
