I'm having a little difficulty using the Direct Cable Connection feature in Windows98se. I've run the wizard on both my Dell desktop & laptop & there seams to be a problem with the desktop detecting the cable connection. It was suggested to me that the port needs to be changed from a printer port to an ECP port in the BIOS, how is this done? Can anyone also advise the step by step procedure for using the Direct Cable Connection Feature to check that I'm doing it right, or send me to a site that might be helpful? Thanks.
