I own a Dimension 8100 with BIOS A06. Do I need to update to BIOS A09 or XP2 or neither? My computer is running fine. I want to add a 100 GB hard drive and upgrade to PC800 memory. This is what I currently have in my computer:

 

P4 1.3 GHz

motherboard D850GB

20 GB Hard Drive

128 MB of PC600 memory

 

One additional question:

 

I also want to upgrade the CPU. What other CPU will my motherboard support?
