Folder C:\DELL\Drivers missing
Not long ago I performed a clean install of XP and reinstalled all my drivers, etc. from the ResourceCD. I just noticed that the folder C:\DELL\Drivers is missing and can't imagine why I would have deleted it (kind of handy in case I need to reinstall something). I'm assuming that this is not a big deal since those are all just installation files, and I've got them all on the CD? Any reason I should be concerned?

- No...it's a mystery to me. I can imagine moving it to a more convient location...but it is not on the drive or any of my backups. I'm not going to sweat it. My best guess is that it was late one night, I was out of it, and just thought I was deleting some Dell junkware. Oops..... gotta be more careful.
- Hi Rob,Since you are bafled at the idea of having deleted your own "C:\DELL\Drivers" folder, why don't you try the first and easiest solution:The "DELL" and subfolders, have the hidden attribute. So do the following open My Computer, on the Menu select Tools, then Folder Options, then on the tabs select View and under Advanced settings select "Show hidden files and folders".See if that solves your problem!Bystander..

Thanks John-
Still can't figure out when or why I might have deleted or moved that folder!? Could Windows Disk Cleanup have taken it out as a 'downloaded program file'?
