I would really appreciate any help on the following problem.
I'm getting the following message when I open certain folders:

'The instruction ot "0x77f585c0" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be written".

After the message I get the option to send a bug report (great, thanks very much) and then explorer crashes. I've experimented with the folder in question and have copied it to a higher position on my folder directory tree. After doing that I've tried accessing the folder again and it opens fine. If I copy it back down to the original position it has the same problem.

I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with the 'depth' in the directory tree my folder is? Basically I'm stumped. This hasn't really given me much faith in win XP!

If anyone's had a similar problem or knows the reason could they please help.
