I have a dimension 8100 P4 1.7ghz running windows ME. It came with 256 MB Ram. I beleive it came with ECC Ram (Rambus, RIMM, whatever you want to call it). I want to leave in the 2 -128 modules that I have now and install either 2-128's or 2-256 modules. Do I have to purchase ECC RAM or will non-ECC ram work fine?
