Thoughts on NV5.

I have a Dell Dimension 8300 and my 6800 GT idles at 65C. Would it be worth adding the NV5?

Is there anything else I can do to cool the GPU down?

That temperature is about right for a 6800, but the problem is that with our poorly ventilated Dell cases, the ambient temperature in the case gets raised several degrees because of the high GPU temp.

I installed the ATI version of the cooler you are talking about and it keeps my ambient temperature at about 36 degrees idle, and the GPU at 38 idle. It was an easy install, and provides great performance for a low price. I've posted this before, but I feel like the ATI Silencer is one of the best investments I've made for my computer.
