Up grade

Question

I have a Dim 4500, I have upgraded to 160 Gb.hard drive . I was told I could go to 400 gb. Hard drive . is this true ?. I have also up graded to 1gb.Ram can I go higher, if not why .What do I need to do ,to get in more Ram I need some speed .Is there something else I need to upgrade first. Help

No way I can do more Ram . If I take out the two 512 could I not do 2 gb.Ram is there any way I can do that
