Upgrade my CPU

I wanted to know if my Dimension 8200 desktop can handle a 3.0 cpu 800 MHZ? mine is a 533 FSB 478 PIN I have a 2.26 cpu I want to upgrade to a 3.0,                Dell Dimension 8200 Pentium 4 Processor 2.26 533 front side bus 478 pin 512 cache can I use the 800 MHZ CPU?

    i don't think so ...as far as i know, the "fastest" supported cpu in the D8200 has been a "P4 Northwood 2.8 GHz /533FSB with 512 cache" ...you're working here with a kind of "100 MHz Quad Pumped Front Side Bus" , which results at least in the 400MHz
