When booting up, just when I get to the desktop, the monitor shuts down, it's as if it stops getting signal from the pc and the light go to idle orange. Then I have to turn it off from behind and then try to boot up, getting mixed results, starts booting up then it stops w/o getting to desktop, the cpu red light would be on, then would go off after few secs. I switched monitors thinking it's the monitor's fault, but even with a different monitor same thing happens.

What could be the cause of this? IT's as if the pc goes into hybernation by itself? What should I do, tried booting up with start up disk getting mixed results. Help, suggestions are very welcomed. Thanks
