Hi,

I got a Dell Inspiron 15 in December 2013 and it includes Windows 8. Recently the battery has been acting weird and losing charge even though it is plugged in. It only happens occasionally and sometimes I can just unplug and replug the charger back into the laptop and it will slowly charge again. However, sometimes it refuses to continue to charge back up and gives me the message that my battery is low and I need to start charging it.

I'm not sure exactly what to do since I keep losing power and it still says that the computer is plugged in and charging. I haven't upgraded to Windows 8.1 yet, could this help solve the problem any?
