Some FN Keys arent working...

Hi all, Reformatted Inspiron 6000 laptop and now some FN keys dont work. like the eject button and the battery button etc. What do I download and where do I go to get the thing to make this work? Thanks again

Hi,

Did you run the resource CD ? It will load the extra stuff, then show all the needed drivers. It will put the Diags in a hidden  partition also.

dont have the recource cd(s) dell didnt send them w/ my laptop... Claimed that my laptop had EVERYTHING I needed on my laptop.... such bull sh**

Help for what? I've helped a few ppl on this forum. if I helped you then, your welcome :). But at this moment I'm more concerned w/ the problem I'm having at this time. (it isant a big problem though).

Did you install Dell QuickSet?

You don't need to have the resource cd, as long as your network card is functional, get on the internet and go to dell's support downloads. Enter you service tag number and download the relevant drivers and quickset which controls all the functions of the extra keys.
