Studio XPS 16 Series - Differences?

Can someone please explain the differences between the 4 XPS 16 models? There is the 1340, 1640, 1645 and 1647 according to the manuals available.

You need to compare the systems on the Dell site to see which is for you.

Thanks KirD - but what I'm looking for is not hte difference betwen Inspiron and XPS 16, but within the XP16 line, there are 4 diffferent models. I want to know what these differnces are between these.

The 1340 is a 13" noteobook.

The other three are numbered as to whether they're the older Core 2, or newer i5 or i7 CPUs. These all appear to use different system boards
