Extended Warranty Transfer

I purchased a 2407WFP-A03 in November of 2006 directly from Dell.  Along with it I purchased the extended warranty (Total of 5 years).  I want to sell this monitor, probably on eBay, and upgrade to the 27" or 30".

(1) Would the buyer get my extended warranty?

(2) If so, what would I need to do to transfer it to him?

I went to the warranty transfer page and it only seem to be for systems.  What exactly do I need to do to transfer the warranty to the new buyer when I sell it?

BTW, this monitor has been providing excellent service.  Never a dead pixel and no problems at all. Also, Is there a "for-sale" section anywhere here?

But that will have MY information on it.  If he has a problem will they ship a replacement to someone other then the name on the invoice?  Somehow I doubt it.  There must be a specific procedure to transfer the ownership just as there is with a system.

The new owner needs to have the copy of the invoice or"Acknowlegement" . It includes a copy of the order number.

I had to exchange a monitor, and tech support wanted the order number. You should call CS and ask.
