higher refresh rate for ST2010F?

Question

My ST2010F monitor is currently set at 1600x900.  The highest refresh rate that it will allow me to use is 60hz.  Is there any way to increase the refresh rate without decreasing the resolution?  Would using a HDMI cable help?  I have a WIndows 7,  ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card, & AMD Anthlon II 645 processor.  Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response.  I want to increase it because I have problems with my vision from staring at my monitor all day.  I wanted to see if reducing the flicker would help.

Nope. According to the User Guide Preset Display Modes, you can only do 60Hz at 1600x900. Why would you want to change the Hz?
