U4021QW, DDM problem

Hello,

I am hoping you can help. I have the following monitor and its great except since I received it I have not been able to get the DDM (Dell Display Manager) to work. I have pretty much searched every forum, googled everything I can think of, downloaded and re-installed many times but its just not working for me.

Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Troubleshooting =

Dell DDC/CI is enabled.
Latest display driver from the graphics vendor Intel is installed.
No docking stations or cable extenders or converters between the monitor and the graphics port. It’s a direct HDMI cable from the monitor to the laptop.
Laptop is not DELL.
The cable is not damaged. I am using the one that is shipped with the monitor.
