All save set

The 'All' save set seems to have a lot of automagic built in. For example it knows to skip /sys and /proc on Linux.

How can I see an expansion of 'All' and look at what it's really doing? Where is this written in?

It's not written as it is internal. You can run backup in debug mode and see what it does, but usually it is irrelevant for your overall operations.

I have a situation where I can't use 'All'. So it would be helpful to me to know what it includes/excludes so I can duplicate it. How do I run in debug mode?

Not sure why you can't run saveset all, but you can check what are local filesystems - savefs will do something similar and you can check /etc/fstab for local file systems.
