Cannot open save session with G
Greetings,
Due to policy changes I have had to move my Networker Server to a Different subnet from my Oracle server. Each has it's own Storage Node, and is connected to the Tape Library via the SAN.
I have changed the hosts file's on both server to reference the updated IP addresses and opened all TCP ports between them. However when I try to run a back up I get the following errors in group detail:
Unsuccessful savesets
* servername: /san/path 1 retry attempted
* servername: /san/path save: SYSTEM error: client invalid servername is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server
* servername: /san/path save: cannot open save session with management-server
invalid servername I added, it is referencing a server name that doesn't exist. However I don't know that this is the problem as the server backed up correctly up till the IP change.
We purchased this software less then a year ago. Does it come with any EMC Provided Support? I have searched this site and for some reason find it impossible to find any information on support!
Sincerely,
VInce
