NDMP DSA

Hi All,

Is NDMP DSA to backup NDMP data through network to non-ndmp device instead of typical way using SAN and NDMP device?

How do you enable this in Networker? I believe you don't have to specify the drive as NDMP device in jbconfig since ndmpdsa will be using non-ndmp device. (Which means, 'standard' or 'normal' tape drives will take these NDMP backup stream).
Can anyone share the steps/best practices/known issues/feasibility? I don't see ndmp dsa method mentioned or documented in Networker 7.4 Admin Guide...

Any help is greatly appreciated... Thank you..

Yes it is.

DSA is mentioned in docs - simply search for dsa (do not select case sensitive search).

You wish to check nsrndmp_save manual too (pay attention to -M option).
