"BLK" is a Spanning Tree indication that the port is in a blocking status. In order to transition the status into "FWD" for forwarding, you will need to establish a link on that interface. Once you connect a device into the interface, the LED should indicate the connection (Green or Amber in color depending on the speed / duplex), and the "BLK" status should change.
