Firmware update fails

Hi I am trying to update the firmware on a PowerConnect 6248 from 2.2. to the latest available, I am following the instructions in the upgrade notes and am running into the following problem.

I am able to upload a config just fine to the TFTP Server, but when I try to download the config to the 6224 I get: failed to transfer file. Unable to receive a packet from the client (Error Code A14800EA)

I have found a post from 2008 that had this same problem and tried both the fixes without success.   Any advice?
