when the switch is new, I will configure it with console cable and set a management IP.

Doubt:

1 - Can I use any switch port to access it?

As there are two switches I want to configure a stacked one, I will configure the first one with a management IP, access the webgui and update the firmware.

The second switch I will do the same management IP configuration, access the webgui and update the firmware.

In the sequence I will configure the first one with all the VLANs and I will enable the stacked.

At this moment I connect the cables to the second and add the second to the stacked via command line or I can restart the first and then turn on the second that automatically the second will enter the stacked and download the main settings.

Doubt:

2 - Does the second switch that had a management IP lose its IP configuration? That is, if I remove it from the stack, will I need to configure a management IP again?
