Uptime.

Has anyone noticed differences in the UPTIME reported by CLI and the Web interface on a 3324?

I tried to send this message before, but the cut and copy contained HTML and was striped by the forum.

Anyways, long story short, the CLI is reporting:

System Up Time (days,hour:min:sec):       162,11:33:53

And the web interface is showing:

System Up Time 12 d 1 h 15 m 1 s

The date and time are set right on the switch. Any ideas?

Also, is the a basic -> Intermediate -> Advanced ACL primer anywhere for the 33xx?

What version of firmware are you currently running?  While not specifically noted in the release notes, examining systems on Software Version 1.2.0.6 does not seem to reflect different values between the web interface and the CLI.

The following is a link to the latest revision of firmware for the PowerConnect 3300 series switches.

The PowerConnect 3300 series switches support MAC or IP (TCP | UDP) based ACLs.  They are essentially specified by the "ip access-list [ACL Name]" or "mac access-list [ACL Name]" commands.

    Hi Randy,

I did have a maintenance window last week, and did upgrade the firmware to 1.2.0.6.

The switch was rebooted, and as of now:

    Web Interface Uptime:
    5 d 15 h 56 m 10 s

    CLI Uptime
    5,17:03:16

As you can see, over the space of 5 days, there is a 2 minute + difference. I suspect this will grow as time goes on.

I will report this anomaly to Dell Engineering for further investigation.
