Hello, I am having trouble with my Dimension 8400's ethernet connection.  It is not recognizing the connection and I have no idea why.  I have not installed any new hardware in years.  I know that the service side of the connection is working since I can connect my laptop (which is what I am using now).  Any ideas how to fix this?  Thank you in advance.

Edited to add: The error shows "Limited or No Activity" when I plug in the ethernet cord.  It says that there is an issue with the IP address.  I don't understand why when I can connect my laptop with no issues.
