I purchased a Dell 2400 after I thought I wouldn't be able to get my Gateway 500 running again. While the Dell was being shipped I took the Gateway to a second computer shop that repaired by installing a new video card. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get a wireless network with the Gateway or buy another second computer. I increased the RAM on the Dell to 768. The Gateway

runs on WIN98 and has 256 RAM. I figured at least I'd have to install XP on the Gateway and increase RAM to 512. The Gateway is five years old and don't know if it's worth putting the money into it, esp., if it causes me to have to install something else.
