Is ther a difference in the express card and the new wireless N Mini card?>

An Express Card slides into the Express Card slot in the side of computer equiped with an Express Card slot. A Minicard installs in the MiniCard slot inside of a computer that has an internal MiniCard slot.

I have a wireless-N mini card (as stated it is inside computer) but I also have an Express card slot on the side of the computer...what is this for?
