Need driver for ethernet controller
Had to reinstall Windows on my Dell Studio XPS 7100-the 64-bit DVD did not work but the 32-bit did, so now I have Windows 7 32 bit OS. Device manager shows that the Ethernet Controller needs a driver, can anyone tell me where to find the correct driver for the Ethernet Controller? Service Tag is and it seems that I cannot use the Dell diagnostic tool on this new 32-bit system. Thank you for any help you can provide.

This is a useless suggestion. The link given does NOT go to the download location for the driver needed, but rather the useless Dell Drivers and Downloads page which does everything BUT give you downloads or drivers.

The drivers available for this system are tried and tested on Windows 7 64 bit. It has an integrated Broadcom BCM57788 Gigabit Ethernet controller. To download the Ethernet Controller, use the link below:
