I have an old Netopia 3347NWG and a DSL. Line strength is ok, internet works fine, until - somebody uses all the upload for himself :smileywink:

So I was planing to use the QoS feature in the Netopia, but as it appears - it keeps the router lagging and restarting and loosing connection as soon as the QoS`ed ports are in use.

Can someone tell me what exactly is the first variable in the Netopias QoS? It is called -> Low-High Priority Ratio (1-100)

I see where to put the priorities for ports, but what is that setting and what does it mean???

 

 

P.S. Somebody using QoS on another router maybe?
