Web Site Unavailability

Question

I am unable to access one particular website from my computer... I know it's not down as a friend of mine has just accessed it.   Am I doing something wrong or is there something I can do to rectify this matter   Steve

It would help if you told us which web site it is and exactly what happens when you try to go there. Have you checked to see if the site somehow got into your "restricted sites" list (Open Interent Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options, click on the Security Tab, click on Restricted Sites, then click on the Sites button).

i have a new dell inspirion 700m notebook.   when i go into Panera Bread to use the WI-FI it will say 'connected', but my inernet page would say 'page can not be displayed'.  it work the first day that i got it but havent since.  i dont understand how it could be connected to the wireless internet, but wont display the website.  please help!

Please be so kind as to start a new thread by posting a new message. It gets way too confusing trying to help solve more than one problem in the same thread. This thread belongs to SteveiH25 and I'm sure he/she person would appreciate it if you let us solve his/her problem first.

hey u!!!   Thanq so much for gettin back to me and for messagin that other guy!!!   Done what you said.... but I have no 'Restriced Sites' but the othe problem is... its only from my wireless that I can't access the site www.gaydar.co.uk  but when I'm away n usin a hotel wireless or adsl connection it connects fine!!! I'm Stumped!!!   Steve :-)
