Wireless Issue with 6000 + Intel 2915 ABG + X-Micro 11g router
I've a new Inspiron 6000 with a Intel Pro 2915ABG Wireless Card, OS XP Home. WLAN Router X-Micro 11g. Using Intel Proset to manage connection to the WLAN router.
- Connection OK, very good signal strength
- Connecting with WPA-PSK/TKIP
- IP Adress assigned from router
When calling up an web page the TCP/IP transfer rate slows down to 0 even if the physicall connection bandwith remains 54 mb/s. No ping to the router any more.
WLAN firmware, WLAN card driver on most current status. Internet connection with cable OK, WLAN connection from a different Laptop to router OK.
Did anyone have the same experience ?
