PE1300/700 - Hardware, Scsi or Serial problem??
Hi,
I have just bought a PE1300/700 which has it's hard drives formatted.
I want to load Suse Linux but during installation it freezes.
The Service tag is JMA7Z and the machine seems to be as per original spec.
When I boot up I have Bios version A11 and the four SCSI hard drives are recognised.
When I insert the SUSE 10.1 CD disk it starts installing, goes through a short process then asks if it's a new installation - I click 'yes' and down the left hand side wher the list to show how far you have got says 'Time Zone' but noting happens, I can move the curser as normal but nothing is loading from this point.
Any one with any ideas??
