PowerEdge T430 A fatal error bus 129 device 0 function 0
HI Everyone,
One of my customers has a PowerEdge T430 and on startup they get the following errors:
A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 129 device 0 function 0.
A bus fatal error was detected on a component at slot 5
I have accessed the iDrac Lights out card and from the logs I can see every time the Server is restarted the error comes up on the panel- sometimes the Server boots correctly and others times it hangs and a force power down and start up is required.
We are running ESXi 6.5 on this Server with 3 X VM's which 2 run 2012R2 and the other is a Windows 7 jump box.
Have tried looking in device manager and checking the registry but I cannot find a device in BUS 129 or anything in SLOT5.
I can say that the iDrac card was removed by a previous Engineer but I am stumped as to what this device can be or how to resolve this issue- other than to attend site and do a full BIOS and Firmware upgrade on all the storage devices and any other components.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Anthony
